Graduation Thesis
This project is my graduation thesis for the Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts and Entertainment (Game Development major) at Howest Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen at Kortrijk, Belgium. The research compares two common approaches for volumetric lighting in games: single scattering (SS) and multiple scattering (MS). The focus of the comparison is on how the different volumetric lighting methods affect the visual quality and realism of the scene, combining performance benchmarking and a small user study.

About Me!
Hi! I'm Thalia Tritar, an aspiring graphics programmer that is currently studying Digital Arts & Entertainment - Game Development in Howest Kortrijk, Belgium.
I have always had a strong interest in art, mathematics and computer science, which led me to pursue a career in game development and more specifically in graphics programming.
From a young age, I have been fascinated by a variety of art styles, especially luminism. I have followed many courses in fine arts, which has given me a strong foundation in traditional art techniques.
I loved to draw, sculpt and paint, and I still do in my free time.
Apart from that I have always been really skilled at mathematics and physics. I'm a logical thinker and a really fast learner, which has helped me a lot in my studies.
Now I hope to be able to gather a bunch of experience in the industry, so I can become a skilled programmer.
BTW, I really really really love cats!
